hey there. let’s get a few things straight. don’t worry, i’ll make it quick.
1. my name is nick.
2. i am not in norway. but i will be.
3. i like coffee.
4. i take lots of pictures.
5. i am a film student.
you may be wondering why this site is called “nick in norway” if i’m not in norway. well, quite simply, i will be in norway soon. i’ll be studying there for the fall 2008 semester. the reason i’m starting this blog now, before i go, is because as soon as i found out i was going, my mind left little old rhode island and took up residence in a place that is quite like how i would picture norway without ever having been there. also, this will help me organize my thoughts before i go in order to optimize my time there… in other words, it’ll help make sure i don’t forget my toothbrush.
to be honest, this site may never actually be about my time in norway. it’s more just about my mind… which currently resides, before it’s time, in norway.
don’t worry, things aren’t supposed to make much sense around here.
